About The Position

The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Supervisor, Mill Operations, Nunavut Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Deputy Mill Manager, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Requirements

Five (5) years' experience in mill operations, with a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role.
Diploma or technical certification in mineral processing, metallurgy, or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge of gold or mineral processing plant operations and equipment, strong knowledge of workplace and process safety requirements and procedures.
A Nunavut WSCC Supervisory Level II qualification, or ability to obtain same.
Proficiency in operational management software, DCS, and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations across mill and plant areas, including Crushing, Grinding, Gravity Concentration, Cyanide Leaching, Reagents Circuit, and Tailings Management.
Supervise, train, and mentor mill operators and technicians, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Monitor KPls such as throughput, recovery rates, and ore grade, analyze plant data to enhance production quality and efficiency, and prepare detailed performance reports.
Analyze plant data and adjust operations to enhance OEE and production quality.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute maintenance activities, minimize downtime, and ensure continuous operations.
Identify and implement process improvements, resolve operational issues, and optimize resources to increase throughput, reduce costs, and improve recovery rates.
Oversee inventory levels for chemicals, consumables, and spare parts, ensuring availability to prevent delays while maintaining accurate operational records.
Ensure the efficient use of resources, optimized schedules, proper documentation; Prepare reports on production performance, safety incidents, and operational issues.
Uphold B2Gold Nunavut's health, safety, and environmental policies, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct safety meetings, and enforce adherence to SOPs.
