As our Electrical Shift Coordinator, you will coordinate the Mill/Surface electrical teams for maintenance of all electrical, network and radio equipment to keep our production going and our profitability up. Every day you will work at a mine on a remote island about 18 miles outside of Juneau, Alaska. You’ll start every job with safety first by inspecting your workplace, wearing the proper protective equipment, and you will promote safety compliance in all tasks. To thrive in this role, you must be able to train, lead, and supervise the Mill/Surface electricians as well as coordinate their daily work to ensure maximum utilization of resources and meet operational requirements. We’re on a remote island; you must know how to work independently.
