About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations, to join our Refurb Operations team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will provide hands-on floor leadership across refurbishment operations, including decon, 200L, canister assembly, ampoule assembly, wet clean, and shift coverage support. This role is expected to support a 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM shift and oversee employees working both weekday and weekend schedules. The supervisor will drive safe daily execution, schedule adherence, operational discipline, and continuous improvement while coaching leads and operators to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience with increasing responsibility; experience in refurbishment, chemical, gas, semiconductor, or controlled manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to coach leads and operators, set clear expectations, and build accountability on the factory floor.
  • Strong commitment to proactive safety leadership, stop-work authority, proper escalation, and ensuring work is performed in accordance with site procedures.
  • Experience supporting daily production execution, labor planning, shift handoffs, schedule adherence, and on-time shipment commitments.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with planning, logistics, engineering, quality, EHS, analytical lab, and other support teams to resolve issues and improve operations.
  • Proven track record of safety, quality, customer focus, continuous improvement, and eliminating non-value-added activities.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to support team-based management, interpersonal engagement, training readiness, cross-training, and consistent execution across shifts.
  • Ability to work a 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM shift and provide oversight for employees working weekend schedules as business needs require.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study preferred, or 5 years of equivalent manufacturing, operations, or technical leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001, OSHA-related requirements, Lean, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and/or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visible floor leadership across refurb operations, including decon, 200L, canister assembly, ampoule assembly, wet clean, and assigned shift coverage.
  • Lead daily execution by setting priorities, managing labor allocation, removing barriers, and ensuring the team meets production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Drive accountability, operational discipline, proper change management, and a proactive safety culture that reinforces stop-work authority when abnormal or unsafe conditions are identified.
  • Ensure work involving hazardous materials, specialized equipment, PPE, and respirator requirements is performed safely, consistently, and in accordance with site procedures.
  • Coach, develop, and support leads and operators through clear expectations, frequent floor engagement, performance feedback, and team-based problem solving.
  • Partner with planning, logistics, engineering, quality, EHS, analytical lab, and other support teams to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and improve process performance.
  • Monitor department performance metrics, schedule adherence, safety observations, quality performance, and productivity trends; implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans as needed.
  • Support staffing plans, shift handoffs, training readiness, and cross-training to maintain area ownership, schedule coverage, and consistent execution across shifts.
  • Provide supervision and operational support for employees assigned to weekend work schedules, ensuring safe execution, proper escalation, and continuity of priorities across the week.
