The Manheim Mobile Inspections Supervisor reports to the Manager and is responsible for the effective leadership and supervision of a team of Mobile Inspectors in a specified geographic territory. The Supervisor’s primary focus is to ensure inspection quality and drive operational efficiency with a team of 10 to 15+ Mobile Inspectors while maintaining a culture of operational excellence and accountability. The Supervisor assists with operational matters concerning the mobile inspections, new car inspections, and floorplan audits in a designated area. The Supervisor will ensure that inspections and floorplan audits performed within the assigned territory meet quality, productivity and safety objectives. The Supervisor is responsible for the recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training of Mobile Inspectors within their assigned area. The Supervisor is also responsible for the ongoing performance management of the team using Lean Daily Management, remote and field based audits, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the team. The Supervisor will also build and maintain relationships with boundary partners in the assigned area including: auctions, sales, remote dealer services, and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of services. The Supervisor will support and develop their Mobile Inspection team, and triage and/or escalate any field-based challenges to the appropriate teams (i.e. Dispatch, Help Desk, etc.). The Supervisor will have the opportunity to interact with multiple levels of the organization, and requires a detailed oriented team member that can think outside of the box and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
