Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 or more years leadership experience, or equivalent experience in a maintenance field
  • Strong, proven leadership experience with an emphasis on supervision of direct reports and influencing senior leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Previous experience as a mechanic, electrician or instrument tech beneficial
  • Extensive experience in leading/managing projects or process improvement initiatives
  • Previous Lean Six Sigma training / RCA experience
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Previous experience in generating and managing financial budgets

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technicians in executing timely repairs and preventive maintenance activities
  • Lead a team of technicians in troubleshooting downtime concerns
  • Lead a cross functional to team to perform Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Perform payroll approval and Work Order Review
  • Write and conduct quarterly touchpoints with direct reports
  • Work with corporate HR to resolve Personnel matters
  • Engage with peer Supervisor’s to solve complicated problems
  • Maintain a safe and clean Maintenance Shop with daily inspections
  • Work weekends and holidays on a rotation with Maintenance peers
  • Be accountable for meeting compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
