Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 4 years of related experience OR Associate's degree with 6 years of related experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of related experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Responsibilities

  • Supervising, developing, and coaching assigned planners.
  • Assigning, coordinating, and executing daily work activities to ensure a productive workforce that supports all Maintenance Planning goals in accordance with the Quality Assurance (QA) Manual, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Providing supervisory oversight for planning of work packages for work to be performed by the respective Maintenance departments.
  • Ensuring packages are planned in accordance with Clean Energy Center (CEC) procedures with the highest quality, ultimately ensuring the CEC is maintained in a safe and reliable condition.
  • Providing analysis and assisting in developing recommendations to the Maintenance Planning Manager to allow strategic decisions for improvement of the work planning process.
  • Planning packages when not performing the supervisor role (as applicable based on CEC).
  • Functioning as a backup to the Manager Maintenance Planning in their absence.
  • Supervising Maintenance Planners for scheduled and emergent work for both On-line and Outage conditions.
  • Ensuring that all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently in accordance with CEC procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Providing inputs to performance reviews for assigned planners.
  • Providing development opportunities and coaching for responsible planners to drive individual and department improvement.
  • Interfacing with Work Management, Supply, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
  • Providing input to the Maintenance Planning Manager on improvement areas, performing internal trending of performance of responsible planners, performing required Corrective Action Program (CAP) products, and providing coaching/counselling to respective planners when required.
  • Reviewing work packages for quality and readiness as required.
  • Verifying work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable CEC procedures including Nuclear Safeguard Protocol (NSPs), National Strategy for Space Nuclear Power and Propulsion (NSWPs), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code, etc.
  • Reviewing and approving all required work packages, including 10.CFR50.59 screening or evaluation (if required).
  • Preparing/Revising work instructions as required that provide direction to the Maintenance Department for maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance and surveillances, and the implementation of modifications (As applicable based on CEC).
  • Filling in for Manager Maintenance Planning in their absence.
  • Performing other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
