About The Position

The Supervisor, Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of Traditional and Over The Counter prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. This role works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures, using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems. The supervisor collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selecting methods, techniques, and analytical approaches, and resolves problems related to department processes. They analyze distribution and support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, assisting pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program/process development. Compliance with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures is essential. Decisions are typically related to schedule, plans and daily operations, and the supervisor performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature. Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy OR any factory/warehouse setting experience
• Must have an active registration/license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Florida OR the ability to become registered within 6 months of hire
• Strong communication & problem-solving skills
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience or any leadership related experience to include coaching and developing associates formally or informally
• Bachelor’s degree
• National Certification through PTCB or CphT (ExCPT/NHA)
