About The Position

Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Their Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. This role is within the Machine Shop team, which delivers high-precision, high-quality machined components critical to Terran R’s success. The team collaborates closely with engineering and design teams to drive better part designs and manufacturing solutions, working with best-in-class machinery in an expanded, state-of-the-art machine shop. This role offers the chance to see craftsmanship directly integrated into flight hardware, making an immediate impact. With clear training pathways, there are opportunities to advance from operating machines to programming them, growing your career alongside the program. This is a 1st shift position with a standard schedule of 5am-3:30pm PT, Monday through Friday, structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.

Requirements

Experience identifying manufacturing process gaps and analyzing their impact on the production system
Experience administrating/delegating daily work assignments to your team
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
