The Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of LNG plant facilities through the supervision and organization of assigned operations, personnel, and contractors in order to effectively and efficiently accomplish job tasks in line with departmental and National Grid requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related supervisory experience leading a team of operating and maintenance personnel in a technical field required
  • Proven ability to clearly understand, implement, and maintain operational procedures required
  • Proficiency with MS Office required
  • Process industry experience required
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills required
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills to understand, manage, assess, trend, and problem solve ranging operational processes preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of LNG systems and regulations including Federal DOT LNG CFR 193 and NFPA 59A preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, standards and processes to promote a safe work environment and minimize occupational risks
  • Supervise a culturally diverse workforce effectively through coaching, counseling and team building to ensure success
  • Establish a culture of safety, reliability, efficiency, and compliance
  • Schedule plant shift personnel and direct activities to meet all peak shaving operation and maintenance requirements timely, reliably, and efficiently
  • Ensure all plant records are up-to-date and accurate; and communicate changes and revisions to all relevant stakeholders including plant staff and compliance & training coordinator
  • Maintain regulatory compliance by meeting all regulatory requirements effectively and in timely manner
  • Become proficient in the Process Safety Management system relative to LNG Operations
