Oversees line maintenance operations and supervises line maintenance personnel. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in aircraft maintenance. The Supervisor will manage, monitor, and coordinate Safety Management System (SMS) activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and the implementation of safety controls. They will also be responsible for determining work priorities, supervising maintenance performed on company and contract aircraft, and ensuring timely and accurate information on aircraft status. The role involves evaluating maintenance performance, administering corrective actions, and assisting in the formulation of departmental policy and budget. Additionally, the Supervisor will ensure tools and equipment meet safety standards, conduct investigations for lost and found tools, and perform necessary computer and administrative functions. They will also identify operational improvements, ensure adherence to security regulations, and audit completed aircraft records for accuracy and completeness. Training and qualification of department personnel are also key responsibilities, along with strict adherence to approved published procedures.
