About The Position

The Supervisor, in conjunction with the Administrative Director, is responsible for planning, budgeting, developing, coordinating, and evaluating all aspects within the Laboratory and Blood Bank departments. This role involves maintaining close working relationships and open communication with staff, hospital administration, and medical staff. The Supervisor will also evaluate and implement appropriate certifications by regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Qualified as a general supervisor based on CLIA’88 requirements.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a medical laboratory required.
• Previous supervisory experience with proven leadership abilities.
• Supervisory skills and technical expertise.
• Must be able to relate to patients from newborn to geriatric.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science field preferred.
