About The Position

Partner with Regional Leadership teams to ensure the IT Strategy supports and is in alignment with the regional/global operational business strategy. Consolidate, analyse, prioritize (based on business returns), understand and document Regional and Plant IT requirements and gaps in pursuit of solutions. Consult with Leadership team to review project plans and to obtain project approval & funding. Leverage IT economies of scale across the region; deliver IT best practices, and aggressively drives cost optimization efforts. Manage a team of employees; responsibilities may include hiring, terminations, performance, goal setting and coaching team members. Provide leadership and direction to plant management regarding plant IT staff in defining IT position responsibilities, recruitment, staff development, career planning, compensation definition, training, and performance appraisals. Lead and mentor Plant IT Staff to successful support of plant operations measured by timeliness, budget performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. Ensure and document adherence to standard technologies, policies, security, and Business Operating System (BOS) processes throughout the Business Unit. Quality Systems: Understand, apply and meet all function-related BOS requirements. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements. Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements. Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements. Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements. Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Must be able to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
  • Proven project management experience in the implementation of complex, integrated, global business applications in a discrete/repetitive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience delivering projects in a manufacturing environment and comfortable in an international setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgetary management.
  • Experience with IT lifestyle methodologies.
  • Ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
  • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
