About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Supervisor, Inventory will be to supervise the daily activities of the inventory control process. Ensures adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained. Will partner with the manager to evaluate inventory needs and help to implement strategies to meet those needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory control or cycle counting, or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.
  • Forklift Certification

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and manage daily cycle counts of all products
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through daily, monthly cycle counts and annual year-end physical inventories
  • Investigate variances, identify underlying causes of variances, formulate and implement corrective actions
  • Responsible for analyzing movement patterns, performance reporting, and resolving accuracy discrepancies by researching to root cause and implementing change to dissolve issues
  • Read cycle count reports and perform proper research and adjustments to POs, RMAs, TRNs, SOs, profit/loss, etc.
  • Use RF scanner and lift equipment to verify counts
  • Work with the manager to analyze current procedures and will help to develop new procedures to improve operations
  • Will make recommendations regarding department standard operating procedures to improve warehouse efficiency
  • Manage inventory quality and accuracy assurance program including cycle counts
  • Help inventory control team to meet company standards for productivity
