Requirements
- Excellent planning & analytical skills are required
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of ERP system is required, preferable in SAP.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with ability to manage several priorities at once
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft application’s specifically, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint & Word.
- Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles such as MRP & inventory planning & control.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with ability to act on own initiative or under minimal supervision.
- Third Level Qualification in relevant discipline
- A minimum of 3 years Inventory Controller experience (with SAP preferred)
- A minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- To establish and execute cycle count schedule/process in compliance with the corporate accounting objectives.
- Monitor work of all inventory control personnel and ensure achievement of all objectives and provide improvements to same if required.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stockroom locations.
- Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes according to manual and update processes if required.
- Maintaining accuracy of raw and finished goods inventory
- Reports inventory changes via SAP.
- Conducts in depth research to reconcile inventory discrepancies in SAP and physical stock locations.
- Validates and executes inter-warehouse material transfers in SAP to maintain accurate inventories.
- Reports damages of goods to Distribution Centre Manager.
- Develops and monitors optimized inventory bin utilization to support logistics requirements.
- Controls scrap and missing stock
- Monitor Receiving Area performance and issue resolution
- Monitor Material Interruptions in production to minimize impact
- Identify capacity gaps, Over/Under capacity
- Pro-actively look for and implement improvement opportunities for Inventory group
- Develop, maintain, analyze and publish KPI’s relevant to business unit & department as appropriate.
