About The Position

This role oversees the daily operations at Imaging sites of service. The position coordinates staff training, scheduling, and patient-flow activities, in addition to overseeing and performing technical scanning functions. The Supervisor supports and adheres to the Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Requirements

• Nuclear Medicine technical experience required.
• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or A.R.R.T. (N) required.
• ARRT Certification for either Xray or CT, or CT certification from NMTCB.
• Minimum five years’ experience in Nuclear Medical Technology, including at least three years directly related experience in PET Technology.

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Radioligand Therapy, Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, set-up of protocol, reconstruction and development and archival of images, coordination of image on report function, and management of clinical database information.
• Coordinates with site front office and business office activities to ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversees and coordinates ACR accreditation and Quality Control of imaging equipment.
• Oversees and coordinates routine maintenance and service of imaging equipment.
• Develops and implements imaging policy manual and procedure protocols.
• Ensures compliance with state licensing organizations and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinates equipment maintenance.
• Checks Monthly and Daily PET QC logs, ensures they are logged in NMIS.
• Completes SMPTE Pattern Checklist for AMC Reading CPU, Mobile and AMC PET CPU.
• Ensures Quarterly QC is completed and logged in NMIS (3D WC and Linearity).
• Acts as Radiology Group Liaison.
• Manages staff hiring, onboarding, PTO, schedules, timecards, and evaluations.
• Prepares weekly and monthly department reporting and stats, including NMIS.
• Generates monthly reports for Mobile and AMC PET.
• Ensures accuracy of patient record keeping, timely billing, and communication with Radiology groups.
• Supervises technical staff at all imaging sites.
