About The Position

DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) is looking for a Regional Operations Supervisor (ROS) to accomplish company objectives by supervising the daily operations of a team of Care Coordinators (CCs) and Engagement Specialists (ESs) for our Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) program. In this role, you will be responsible for driving patient engagement, supporting Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) priorities, and developing a high-performing team. This is a REMOTE position - the Regional Operations Supervisor must be capable of leading a team from your home office (remotely). The ROS plays a pivotal role in ensuring our teammates are equipped to support patients effectively, monitoring workflow completion, and driving Total Cost of Care (TCOC) metrics such as Comprehensive Health Evaluation (CHE) scheduling and patient engagement rates.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' supervisory experience required; remote teammate supervisory preferred; healthcare industry supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) years' project management and/or project implementation experience required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience demonstrating strong understanding of commercial insurance plans and benefits (PPO, HMO, POS, EPO, Indemnity) as well as government insurance programs (Medicare, Medicaid) required.
  • Track record of developing strategies around growth and operational problem solving. Partnerships and influence are a part of your leadership tool set.
  • Experience driving results with your team. You love a good root-cause analysis and flow chart, and you use these tools to track your team’s success in achieving the goal.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information and/or issues, using sound discretion and judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise a team of Care Coordinators and Engagement Specialists in their day-to-day operations.
  • Provide onboarding, training, coaching, and continuous development.
  • Spearhead recurring 1:1s with direct reports.
  • Complete teammate evaluations, establish quarterly and annual goals, and manage all employment activity (hiring, promoting, performance management, etc.).
  • Organize, monitor, evaluate, and manage team and individual workflows.
  • Ensure metrics—such as CHE outreaches, patient engagement targets, and care coordination tasks—are on track to be met.
  • Create and foster a positive, fulfilling work environment.
  • Collaborate with direct reports, peer supervisors, and upper management to create and implement professional development goals.
  • Utilize reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, ROS/CC Supervisor Reports) to identify trends, address barriers to performance, and track your team’s success in achieving operational goals.
  • Review and approve time for non-exempt direct reports.
  • Track overtime, attendance, and PTO.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of medical and operations records.
