The Front Line Manager II – Machining & Assembly is responsible for leading multiple skilled trades teams across machining, assembly, and associated precision‑fabrication operations within the Barberton facility. This higher‑tier leadership role carries expanded ownership for cross‑shift coordination, production planning, workflow prioritization, and technical problem‑solving within a complex, multi‑building machining environment. The FLM II ensures safe, high‑quality, and efficient execution of machining and assembly work scopes, proactively resolves technical and operational challenges, and drives continuous improvement across processes, procedures, technology usage, and workforce effectiveness. This role serves as a key advocate for employee engagement, communication, and accountability while maintaining strong partnerships with technical support groups. This position is primarily assigned to 2nd Shift; however, flexibility to transition between shifts, departments, and work areas is essential to maintain seamless operations. Scheduled overtime may be required based on operational demand.
