About The Position

Responsible for one or more functional operations and one or more channels within the American Distribution Center (ADC), Regional Fulfillment Centers (RFC) or Parts Distribution operations. Responsible for planning the daily activities, processes and personnel associated with assigned functional areas. Establishes performance standards and monitors performance of assigned employees.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • 5 years of warehouse experience.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and ERP Platform environment is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office or equivalent (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • Must possess excellent leadership skills.
  • Must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates good time management skills.
  • Demonstrates strong motivational and team building capabilities.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Adheres to Ricoh’s Code of Ethics and demonstrates Ricoh core values in leadership role.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year/4 year degree is preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience with warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and provides daily direction to warehouse leads and associates to accomplish their assigned tasks, as well as addressing escalated issues from the Team Leads, and/or Team members.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the receiving and/or shipping functions within an ADC, RFC or Parts Distribution Center – equipment, supplies or parts. Receiving includes put away activities and Shipping includes order fulfillment activities for these distribution channels.
  • Responsible for accurately tracking and maintaining inventory integrity in assigned storage areas. Manages cycle counts and conducting physical inventories per established guidelines.
  • Is proficient in all systems and equipment required to run the department, such as PCs, scanners, manifesting systems, parts carousels, transportation management systems and warehouse management systems.
  • Responsible for training required for all employees to effectively and efficiently perform their jobs.
  • Monitors reports to manage workloads, resources, and activities, ensuring on-time performance and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and maintenance, including all inbound and outbound shipments, following standard work instructions.
  • Responsible for performing cycle counts and conducting physical inventories per established guidelines.
  • Ensures all OSHA, C-TPAT, and company safety and security standards and Lean/5S/sustainability initiatives are adhered to.
  • Maintains daily management boards and conducts daily stand-up meetings with staff.
  • Completes all performance reviews, identifies development plans for advancement and initiates corrective or disciplinary action for employees as needed, including incident reviews and disciplinary action.
  • Can be involved with physically performing work as required.
  • Provides assistance to other functional areas as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
