About The Position

We are seeking a Supervisor I to support the DC Manager in Sparks, NV in overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and has a strong focus on accuracy, safety, teamwork, and customer service. The Supervisor I will help lead warehouse employees, coordinate resources, maintain inventory integrity, and ensure the Distribution Center operates at a high level of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate warehouse employees.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing processes and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with products and product designations.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Lift truck/forklift safety certification preferred.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the DC Manager with the daily operation of the Distribution Center and provide coverage in the manager's absence.
  • Lead and support warehouse team members while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee and support picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, receiving, returns, and assortment processes.
  • Ensure shipping accuracy and work to minimize short ships, miss-picks, incorrect addresses, and other shipping errors.
  • Maintain a QC accuracy rate of 99.90% or higher.
  • Ensure daily orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Coach and train team members to develop their skills and improve performance.
  • Assist with staffing and resource allocation, including the deployment of temporary employees.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and "show-ready" warehouse.
  • Assist with reviewing and submitting employee timecards.
  • Support timely and accurate shipment fulfillment and invoicing.
  • Lead receiving and pre-pack areas and complete daily postings.
  • Troubleshoot warehouse issues and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Provide operational updates, activity reports, and statistics to management.
  • Order packaging materials as needed.
  • Participate in Health & Safety meetings and ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.
  • Perform warehouse duties as needed and assist with other non-routine assignments.
  • Open and close the facility as assigned.
  • Assign bin locations and operate warehouse equipment and conveyor systems as applicable.
  • Support personnel-related matters and other responsibilities delegated by the DC Manager.
