About The Position

The Supervisor of Hospitality will support a robust artist hospitality program ensuring all backstage and artist hospitality functions for assigned events/shows are consistently executed. This position will serve as a Hospitality Host and a Supervisor to a team of Hosts. This team is committed to delivering exceptional service to our client and artist teams while representing facilities professionally.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years customer service experience required
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required
  • Superior attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Must be 21 years of age for alcohol purchases
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily tasks to support the Hospitality team in providing flawless guest service to artists, crew and clients. This may include staffing, training and scheduling.
  • Review riders and other advance paperwork, including budgets, and follow backstage requirements for each show. Communicate with clients and artist teams in collaboration with venue departments to review specifics (transportation, catering, etc.) before event day.
  • Serve as liaison to event producers, tour promoters and tour management during event load-in and throughout the event to assist with assigning dressing rooms and backstage hospitality placement and needs, etc.
  • Properly set dressing rooms and catering/backstage areas for scheduled events. Maintain areas throughout the day and ensure they are restored for the next day.
  • Responsible for area cleanliness. Ensure all tables, chairs, and other equipment are clean and safe.
  • Maintain inventory of regularly stocked backstage supplies and products.
  • Shop for items that appear on artist riders, adhering to allocated budgets.
  • Assist with laundry for tours and clients.
  • Ensure catering needs are met on event day. Coordinate and deliver food and beverage to the artist.
  • Communicate any security, housekeeping or maintenance issues to the appropriate department and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Execute financial transactions and post-event reconciliation and settlements in accordance with budget/accounting expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
