Requirements

  • Master's degree in human services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent HFA experience
  • Minimum of three years of direct management experience in the early childhood sector
  • Background in home visiting with a strong foundation in early childhood prevention services
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating direct service staff
  • Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, the Healthy Families Ohio Home Visiting Supervisor Full Credential

Responsibilities

  • Leads day-to-day operations of the Help Me Grow home visiting program, supervising a team of Family Support Specialists and ensuring the program meets Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and Healthy Families America (HFA) standards for quality home visiting services.
  • Supervise and support a team of up to six Family Support Specialists, including reflective supervision and ongoing performance feedback
  • Lead regular individual and team meetings to communicate program goals and drive progress toward shared outcomes
  • Monitor program compliance with Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and Healthy Families America (HFA) policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with community and state partners across Franklin County
  • Provide direct service delivery and participate in community outreach events as needed
