The Company has a pulp mill located in Edmundston, N.B., and paper mills located in various locations in the United States. For the Edmundston Pulp Mill, we are currently seeking a: Supervisor Production (Fuel Yard)).

Requirements

• Degree / Trade: Preferably in technical, mechanical, or forestry discipline
• 5 years plus of supervisory experience in production or manufacturing environment
• Any other combination of training and relevant experience may be considered
• Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure a safe work environment with employee's participation
• Plan, prioritize, coordinate, supervise, and review the activities in assigned areas: Fuel Yard / Chipping / Ground Wood
• Control operational activities while respecting environmental targets
• Ensures that unloading of Biomass and Chips are done in a safe and efficient manor
• Coordinate and organize priorities effectively
• Continually assess operational parameters with target KPI intervals
• Work with operation employees to optimize costs, maintain desired quality
• Ensure operation stability
• Training and development of team members
