About The Position

This position assists managers with the daily operational responsibilities of the River Camp Cafe. The role involves ensuring staff adherence to procedures, efficient operation, and meeting budgeted goals. Key duties include supervising cash handling, providing breaks, ensuring excellent customer service, enforcing sanitation standards, assisting with training, and supporting departmental objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General familiarity of Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Must have flexible hours.
• Must be available weekends and holidays.
• Work schedules change according to business demands.
• Successful candidates will be required to submit to a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Some college preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a fast-paced, large volume atmosphere preferred.
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers with daily operational responsibilities.
• Ensure staff follows proper opening and closing procedures.
• Help ensure the operation runs properly and efficiently, meeting and exceeding budgeted goals.
• Supervise staff to ensure cash-handling policies and procedures are followed.
• Relieve staff for breaks and lunches.
• Ensure staff provides "World Class Service" to all customers.
• Work directly with customers and solve any issues that may arise.
• Ensure sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness are monitored and enforced.
• Assist with training and performance of assigned personnel.
• Support the manager with departmental goals and objectives.

Benefits

• The starting rate for this position is $17.00 per hour but may increase based on availability and experience.
