As a Supervisor – Food Safety & Quality , you will be the driving force behind protecting our products, our customers, and our brand. You’ll lead food safety and quality programs across a complex distribution campus, champion a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure we consistently meet—and exceed—GFSI standards. This role offers the opportunity to influence operations at every level, partner with leaders across the organization, and play a key role in maintaining world-class food safety systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant food safety or quality experience
• Proven leadership, coaching, and training skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain: GFSI certification, Food Manager certification, FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food accreditation

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site owner for all food safety and quality management systems within the assigned Distribution Center.
• Champion a strong food safety culture, partnering with DC leadership to drive cross-functional continuous improvement.
• Lead efforts to achieve and maintain GFSI accreditation, including annual re-certification audits.
• Support facility and corporate leadership in setting strategic priorities for food safety and quality advancement.
• Oversee food safety and quality programs across warehouse, transportation, reclaim, trailers, and sanitation operations.
• Ensure compliance with FSMA, cGMPs, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Food Safety Plan, food defense, and food fraud programs.
• Act as a key partner to internal teams and external vendors, auditors, and service providers.
• Own end-to-end oversight of: Sanitation Team & Master Sanitation Schedule, Trailer sanitation and reclaim areas, Pest Control Operator (PCO) relationship, Monitoring, verification, documentation, and effectiveness reviews.
• Conduct facility audits to ensure compliance with GFSI and internal food safety standards.
• Lead food safety and quality training programs to meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Train and coach associates and leaders on food safety, environmental, and sanitation programs.
• Identify training gaps and implement effective education tools and programs.
