This role involves diagnosing vehicle and equipment discrepancies, ensuring timely maintenance, providing a safe work environment, adhering to EPA/EPD guidelines, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The position also includes planning and organizing work activities, developing preventive maintenance plans, assisting with the Fleet Capital Replacement Program, managing the Fleet Management Information System (FMIS), coordinating outsourced repairs, and maintaining accountability for tools and supplies. Additionally, the role involves performance management, coaching, training, approving time and attendance, staying updated on industry trends, reviewing safety protocols, and managing fuel sites and fleet disposals. The supervisor will also oversee maintenance truck drivers and surface repair leaders.
