Responsible for the Locksmith team for Facilities in Wisconsin and the Automatic door team for Wisconsin non-acute locations. This role oversees general department operations, establishes work schedules, issues daily work assignments, and responds to requests for service. The Supervisor identifies and addresses all safety issues and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory and accrediting agency standards and guidelines for facilities operations. They coordinate construction projects, including communicating scheduled utility interruptions, reviewing specifications and blueprint documents, inspecting quality of installations and repairs, and ensuring contractual provisions and construction schedules are met. The role also ensures timely scheduling and completion of required inspection, testing, and maintenance for facilities-maintained equipment using the Computerized Maintenance Management System and related tools, and reviews records for accuracy. The Supervisor acts as a resource for complex maintenance issues, provides technical support to architects, engineers, and consultants, and directs outside contractors on critical utility and infrastructure systems. Performance reviews, coaching, and human resources responsibilities for staff are also key aspects of this role, including recommendations for hiring, compensation, promotions, corrective actions, and terminations. Input into needed tools, education, or other support for team engagement and performance is provided. This position also serves as primary site Facilities leadership when other leadership is not present or available.
