About The Position

RTX Enterprise Services is seeking a Supervisor, Facilities to join their team in Simpsonville, SC. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing activities related to the physical creation of UTC products and the functional operation of UTC facilities. The position involves managing facilities operations, including equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures, to ensure optimal utilization and meet space requirements. The Supervisor will also oversee maintenance, contractor management, and supervise skilled trades, maintenance employees, and security personnel.

Requirements

Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or Operations or Business Administration or similar discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
U.S. citizenship is required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.

Nice To Haves

Experience interfacing with building teams about issues.
Proven leadership ability to motivate a Team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Projects, Maximo, Building Management Systems and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Plans, designs, and reconfigures equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities.
Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs.
Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
Conducts machine inventories and arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required equipment.
Manages facilities contractor management process.
Manages Technical / Business Support and/or Production / Maintenance employees.
Sets day-to-day operational objectives for team.
Ensures practices and procedures are followed by direct reports.
Supervises skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment on a day-to-day basis to ensure operational objectives are met.
Supervises security personnel at a single site who perform activities related to building security, safety, and organization or government restrictions.
