About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all facility systems. This role requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at multitasking, and performs well under pressure. The supervisor will utilize strong critical-thinking skills to develop innovative, practical solutions for both routine and complex challenges. A successful Facilities Maintenance Supervisor collaborates closely with team members, gathers input from various stakeholders, and consistently evaluates processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Also to lead and coordinates the activities of small groups of maintenance personnel. This position places strong emphasis on safety, operational effectiveness, budget-conscious decision making, and high-quality workmanship.

  • Experience with 480V & 208V three-phase, low-voltage AC/DC Motors, drives, lighting systems, switchboards, circuit boards, relays, controllers, PLC's, etc.
  • Structural steel and sheet metal fabrication.
  • MIG/TIG/stick welding; brazing/soldering.
  • Operation of brake, shear, roll, and ironworking tools.
  • Lathe, Bridgeport, drill presses, vertical/horizontal saws, CNC troubleshooting and repair.
  • Water, sanitary, air, and gas systems, system design, layout, installation, and maintenance.
  • Framing, drywall, roofing, siding, masonry, concrete, cabinets, doors, windows, insulation.
  • System design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, Metal ductwork fabrication.
  • Pumps, valves, actuators, servos, regulators, diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and full overhauls.
  • Facility layout, utilities infrastructure, calculating flows, pressures, volumes, and thermal characteristics, creating shop tools, fixtures, test strands.
  • Experience with blueprints, schematics, basics understanding of SolidWorks, and LabVIEW.
  • Ability to read test manuals and blueprints, to build test stands to test products per the manuals and engineering requirements.
  • Microsoft, Excel, Edge, Outlook, Word, Teams.
