The Supervisor Electrical will coordinate and schedule routine, daily, and outage electrical maintenance work for the plant Electricians. This role involves managing overtime, vacations, and absenteeism, evaluating work orders for prioritization, and utilizing CMMS for equipment history and cost tracking. The Supervisor will collaborate with the Maintenance Planner on the Preventative Maintenance program, analyze inspection documents to determine repair needs, and assist in developing shutdown schedules and small plant projects. Training electricians on new equipment and techniques, evaluating skill levels, and managing safety procedures, JSAs, and safety meetings are also key responsibilities. The role requires working closely with other supervisors to foster teamwork, attending daily production and maintenance meetings, and managing the organization and cleaning of the electrical shop and equipment. Additionally, the Supervisor will ensure personnel can operate necessary equipment, become proficient with basic computer software like Microsoft Word and Excel for communication, understand the inventory system, and work with Purchasing to ensure parts availability. Collaboration with the production department to ensure efficient and reliable plant equipment operation is also expected.
