About The Position

This position is a leadership position responsible for the management and delivery of echocardiograms; the testing locations include multiple sites across Children's MN sites, with the primary location in Minneapolis. This position is responsible for management of resources; including development of capital equipment requests and procurement and evaluation of other equipment and supplies; and management of personnel, including staff and professional development.

Requirements

Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Credentialed in ultrasound via American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or registry eligible (in excess of 400 pediatric echocardiograms performed).
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-pediatrics).
Associate's degree in Ultrasound Technology from an accredited program.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to maintain professionalism with all patients and families when faced with difficult situations.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years prior experience in related field preferred.
