Supervisor Distribution

About The Position
This position leads the warehouse staff to operate and facilitate the daily work of the distribution center. This will be a 1st shift Supervisor role that will manage a Team of 12 Distribution Technicians.
Requirements
- 2-4 years warehouse and inventory experience
- Excellent communication, documentation and writing skills
- Basic math skills
- Competent personal computer skills (Word, Excel, Warehouse management software-Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Ability to work in cold temperatures, the Distribution Center is a refrigerated (42° - 45° Fahrenheit) and ambient temperature warehouse

- Previous leadership or leading people as a shift lead
Responsibilities
- Primary cross-functional communication source, assist team to solve issues, and ensuring complete flow of information
- Responsible for the performance of a team and/or shift; manage and review PWO, training, coaching, mentoring and development, equipment sign off progress, and performance issues
- Provide Leadership support; communicate on production schedule changes and updates
- Ensures complete and accurate records are maintained
- Ensures safety and operational policies and procedures are followed
- Other projects and duties as assigned
