The Digital Payment Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day accounting, settlement, reconciliation, and risk monitoring activities that support Carhartt’s direct-to-consumer and direct-to-business digital commerce operations. This role supervises the eCommerce Accounting Specialists and provides oversight across digital payment accounting, cash posting, exception management, account reconciliation, dispute resolution, and financial control processes to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting. The role also partners closely with Treasury, Customer Service, Credit, Deductions, IT, banking partners, and external payment providers to resolve issues, strengthen controls, and support scalable growth across D2C and D2B channels. This position is expected to drive process excellence by standardizing workflows, improving reconciliation accuracy, enhancing visibility into transaction activity, and leveraging technology to automate manual processes where practical. The Digital Payment Supervisor will help advance a more modern, data-driven operating model by promoting ERP integration, system connectivity, dashboard reporting, exception-based review, and stronger fraud and compliance controls—reflecting current best practices in accounts receivable, payment reconciliation, and treasury operations. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and cash application knowledge with digital payment expertise, analytical problem solving, process improvement capability, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
