Key Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 8-hour day/evening shift Occasional weekend rotation The Supervisor will provide operational and staff support for the Cardiovascular CT and MRI modalities across Allina Health MHI East and West campuses

Requirements

  • Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited school of Radiology
  • 2+ years clinical experience in Medical Imaging
  • 0 to 2 years of leadership experience as a lead or supervisor
  • Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association OR Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross OR Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Mammography, MRI or CT advanced certification upon hire preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the daily operations of the department.
  • Checks daily work assignment to assure preparedness.
  • Provides clinical and technical assistance to technologists on related equipment and procedures.
  • Manages daily staffing and overtime to optimize productivity.
  • Performs quality assessments on equipment.
  • Maintains preventative maintenance on imaging equipment.
  • Assists with supply needs and new product evaluation.
  • Assists in development and updating of policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates quality and process improvement projects.
  • Supervision of staff.
  • Performance management of employee, including performance reviews.
  • Hires and onboards new employees.
  • Trains, orients and maintains competencies for employees.
  • Maintains scheduling, time off approval and timecard sign-off.
  • Maintains optimal staffing.
  • Other duties as assigned.
