This is a day shift position, Monday - Friday with some on-call responsibility, located at our NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center campus on Manhattan's upper east side.

Requirements

• Cytogenetics Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or other related field
• New York State license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• 4 years of experience or 2 years of experience with a Master's degree per NYS supervisory requirements.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years supervisory experience
• Master's degree preferred
• ASCP certification

Responsibilities

• Assume oversight of our Cytogenetics laboratory, including administrative, personnel and technical duties.
• Lead a team of Cytogenetics Technologists.
• Serve as a resource to the laboratory leadership team.
• Act as the front line liaison between laboratory staff and physicians.
