About The Position

The Supervisor Concurrent Review is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily workflow and providing leadership to staff. The role includes developing operating procedures and managing personnel and resources. The supervisor provides technical direction, addresses workflow issues and improvement opportunities, oversees staffing and personnel actions, and helps ensure authorization timeframes and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Hold a current, active, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma.
• At least three years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and effect procedural changes.
• Ability to effectively lead, direct, and supervise others.
• Ability to reason logically and use good judgment when interpreting materials or situations.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with quantitative information.
• Ability to organize time effectively and set priorities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of managed care and benefit plans.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to department staff and resolve workflow problems or identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess individual workloads and staffing patterns; select, assign, and evaluate personnel; and recommend or initiate related personnel actions.
• Take on a caseload as needed to assist with staffing needs.
• Ensure authorization timeframes and regulatory requirements are met.
• Interview, hire, train, and review personnel; resolve problems and take disciplinary actions as needed.
• Participate in analysis of current policies and procedures and develop new or updated standard operating procedures and workflows.
• Attend departmental, interdepartmental, and facility meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
