About The Position

The Supervisor - Concentrator provides frontline leadership for the safe, compliant, stable, and cost-effective operation of the mine-site concentrator. The role converts the approved one-week plan established by the General Foreman - Concentrator into daily shift assignments, verifies field readiness, directs operators, monitors process conditions, coordinates equipment access and operating priorities with support functions, and reports production, metallurgical, equipment-condition, workforce, environmental, and variance information. The General Foreman owns the rolling one- to three-month outlook and resource-ready one-week plan; the Supervisor is responsible for disciplined shift execution and timely responses to changing plant conditions. The Supervisor leads safety activities and maintains a visible field presence, ensuring employees and contractors follow applicable MSHA requirements, company standards, operating procedures, environmental permits, and training requirements. The role manages staffing and employee matters in accordance with company policy and the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement; coordinates work across shifts and departments; monitors concentrator circuits and process indicators; and works with support teams to troubleshoot problems and minimize avoidable downtime. The Supervisor also manages shift resources and costs, maintains accurate records, and provides effective shift passdowns.
