Develops, implements, and supervises clinical services provided by a team or unit; directly supervises team or unit personnel. Participates in the development of unit goals and objectives and monitors progress toward achievement of established goals and objectives for long-term and short-term programs. Supervises staff in the design, implementation, and assessment of treatment plans for clients. Participates in the development of the unit budget and regularly monitors revenues and expenditures to ensure compliance with the budget. Conducts team/staff meetings and participates in appropriate administrative, supervisory, and clinical team meetings including weekly team meetings, daily shift changes meetings and clinical program planning meetings. Develops, implements, and evaluates in-service training sessions for unit staff for all shifts. Provides supervision of client evaluations, including screening and initial intake. Monitors the condition of agency facilities to provide an appropriate treatment environment for clients and staff and recommends needed improvements. May perform assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups. Participates in grant writing, contract compliance, and program review activities by collecting, compiling, evaluation, and reporting information and evaluation data. Ensures that agency policies and procedures are adhered to by those supervised. Orients, trains, supervise, and evaluate staff. Ensures that policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards are implemented. Serves as liaison in communicating information both from staff to management and from management to staff. Participates in public relations activities and acts as clinical liaison with the community and other agency components. Plans, develops, and implements new services or modifications to existing services, as approved by the Board. Provides clinical supervision for case consultation and case staffing. Participates in case consultations, case staffing, and monitoring of caseloads. Takes crisis calls on designated nights and weekends. Provides back-up support and decision-making in emergency situations. May, if a Registered nurse, administer client medication as directed by medical staff. Coordinate all care and services required to enhance and facilitate the optimal physical and behavioral health wellness of persons served within a trauma-informed care framework. This includes: 1) facilitating communication between medical and behavioral health practitioners/systems; 2) assisting with scheduling of and compliance with preventative and specialty physical health interventions; 3) integrating treatment interventions to address both the physical and behavioral health needs of the person/family concurrently; 4) assist persons/families served with education and resources outlining the interplay of physical and behavioral health issues on overall wellness and quality of life.
