About The Position

As our Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader, ensuring the strategic optimization and seamless execution of critical clinical functions. Every day, you will oversee and coordinate comprehensive clinical initiatives, establishing protocols, driving process improvements, and managing resources to enhance both patient care and operational efficiency. You'll lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. To be successful, you'll combine strong clinical acumen with exceptional organizational and analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to inspire and guide your team, transforming strategic visions into tangible, positive impacts. In collaboration with Administrative Director and Physician Site Directors, supports a vision and work culture that reflects a patient care-focused environment. Collaborates, as appropriate, to discuss and resolve daily operational and financial issues pertaining to the practice. Participates in work groups, teams, task forces and committees to support ongoing division functions, provide input, and resolve ad hoc issues. Provide support to any service-line issues. Supports centralized coordination of the clinic's financial operating budget. Ensures that patient care is achieved at lowest controllable costs. Supports management in the development of annual clinic budget; provides information to management who monitors fiscal operations. Assists in resolving problems and issues and reconciles discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related subject or 5 years of experience in lieu of the degree
  • 3 years of outpatient clinic experience
  • Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ) or Licenses Practical Nurse: AZ (LPN:AZ)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with physicians
  • Knowledge of business and management principles
  • Knowledge of budget control and accounting principles, including capital budgeting, cost accounting, professional and patient billing and the ability to apply these principles of a health care environment
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the budgeting process, management reports, accounting, purchasing and patient billing systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Prior networking (relationship building) experience for either managed care or integrated delivery systems
