The position also includes interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating new employees, as well as making salary recommendations. The Supervisor will implement and maintain office procedure manuals and job descriptions, manage transcription services for academic and research needs, and act as a liaison between service providers, patients, and support personnel. Additionally, the role requires assisting clerical staff during absences and ensuring patient examination areas are adequately staffed and maintained. The working conditions include a normal office environment with potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens, requiring protective devices in a patient care setting.
