About The Position

As the Supervisor Clinic RN in a fast-paced Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering immediate, life-changing care to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges—guiding both patients and a dedicated clinical team through critical, often urgent moments. The Clinical Staff Supervisor coordinates and manages the clinical support staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic. This position functions as a integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. Oversees the care provided by clinical support staff and initiates efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of the clinical staff members. Leads clinical staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in an efficient, safe, and timely manner that is sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological and spiritual needs. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years of Direct patient care, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
  • Clinical experience in triage principles of patient assessment.
  • Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within the ambulatory setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • 1 year in a supervisory position, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
