About The Position

Responsible for the daily workflow, assignments, and functions of a cardiac diagnostic team. Assumes the responsibility of the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Manager in absence. Works to ensure accurate, reproducible, and cost-effective cardiovascular studies, while staying consistent with guidelines of all applicable regulatory bodies. Provides direct patient care and supports team members in daily work. Assists with recruiting, hiring, training, continuing education, and retention of team members. Reviews and works collaboratively with others to monitor the utilization of resources, including personnel staffing to meet the financial goals of the department and Prisma Health. Responsible for working with others to ensure adequate staffing and workload balance to meet departmental goals of timely and accurate services. Participates in Corporate leadership initiatives. Manages departmental budget including processes to monitor operational and capital costs. Performs other duties as assigned. This is a supervisor job which may have direct supervision of team members which may include hire/termination authority, disciplinary authority, and performance management responsibilities. May have budget input or responsibilities. Job is not considered a member of management staff.

Requirements

  • Associate degree.
  • Three (3) years of cardiovascular sonography, nuclear medicine, or cardiac CT.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • RVT, RDCS, ARRT(N), ARRT(CT) and/or CNMT
  • BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, completion of a certification program and five (5) years of experience may be accepted.
