Requirements

  • 2 years clinical experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology or RN (Registered Nurse)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state OR LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state OR RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) OR CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist)
  • RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state OR LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state OR RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) OR CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in Cardiac or Pulmonary rehab preferred
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Master's degree in Exercise Physiology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with physicians and nursing to review referral patterns and patient progress.
  • Provides support by acting as a resource to patients, family, staff members and physicians.
  • Assists manager in developing and/or revising policies and procedures for the program and departments assigned.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, federal and Joint Commission standards as well as specific standards of practice for assigned unit(s).
  • Responsible for the integrity of confidential records regarding employees and patient reports to the assigned leader.
