This position oversees the daily operation of Campus Services which may include: Equipment, Transport, Gift Shop and Volunteer & Guest Service departments. It supervises all site volunteers in addition to the Campus Services staff. The role also creates and implements new volunteer programs to support the operation.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or Vocational degree in business management or related field or Bachelor's degree in business management or related field
  • 2+ years experience in customer service, healthcare, and/or retail
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • 2+ years experience in volunteer coordination

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff performance through performance reviews, recognition, and accountability.
  • Lead routine team meetings, and communicate with staff regularly.
  • Maintain staff competencies through annual mandatory education.
  • Oversee administration of annual safety, and infection control review.
  • Maintain volunteer records, and performance assessments.
  • Monitor staff productivity to ensure budgeted levels are being met.
  • Assign, direct, and redirect Campus Services workflow to meet daily operational needs.
  • Ensure staff is performing downtime activities during slow times.
  • Order supplies as needed for all areas of oversight.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to explore, define, and implement new volunteer opportunities and programs.
  • Monitor ongoing volunteer programs.
  • Provide customer service training to volunteers as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
