About The Position

The Supervisor, Branches role involves supervising department staff to ensure Members receive prompt, accurate, and high-quality services. This includes resolving Member issues and account problems, providing daily support to Member Service Representatives (MSRs), and ensuring they have adequate supplies. The position also contributes to department goals by managing high volumes through planning and coordinating staffing, and identifying initiatives for productivity enhancements. Additionally, the role involves processing Member transactions, providing information on products and services, and offering consultative services to Members regarding credit union offerings, while also ensuring the team provides similar consultative services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required
  • 3-5 years of prior functional experience required
  • 1-3 years of prior management experience (i.e. management or lead role) required
  • Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment

Responsibilities

  • Supervises department staff, ensuring that Members receive prompt, accurate, high quality services.
  • Resolves Member issues and account problems.
  • Ensures that Member Service Representatives (MSRs) deliver high quality service by providing daily support, including answering questions and problem resolution.
  • Ensures that all MSRs have adequate supplies to complete their daily function.
  • Contributes to department goals by managing high volumes through planning and coordinating staffing.
  • Identifies initiatives for enhancements in productivity.
  • Processes Member transactions and provides product and service information such as opening new shares and quoting savings and loan rates.
  • Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services and ensures that teammembers are providing consultative services by assessing the Member's needs, addressing their concerns and gaining agreement.
  • Supervises teammembers directly, including selection, training, performance appraisal and work allocation.
  • Responsible for scheduling teammembers.
  • Helps establish, communicate and achieve the Credit Union’s goals and standards, ensuring these are fully communicated to and understood by all department teammembers.
  • Identifies areas to streamline department and Credit Union operations.
  • Complies with all government regulatory policies, internal policies and procedures, audit standards, remains current on and informed of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and apprises teammembers.
  • May act in the capacity of the Manager in their absence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties.
