About The Position

The Supervisor, Branch Warehouse is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of warehouse and fulfillment operations at the branch level. This role owns floor-level execution, inventory accuracy, warehouse labor coordination, and safety compliance. The Supervisor, Branch Warehouse executes daily fulfillment activities aligned to the approved shipping plan and defined capacity. This role partners closely with the Supervisor, Branch Operations and Branch Administrator to ensure warehouse execution supports customer commitments while retaining clear ownership of physical fulfillment.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years experience in warehouse or distribution operations
  • Demonstrated people leadership and safety-focused mindset
  • Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a building materials or distribution environment preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, and standard office systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily picking, staging, and shipping activities aligned to the approved shipping schedule.
  • Translate approved shipping plans into daily execution priorities.
  • Coordinate carrier pickups and outbound logistics execution.
  • Proactively communicate execution risks, constraints, or deviations from plan.
  • Own inventory accuracy through disciplined cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and material flow within the warehouse.
  • Lead, schedule, and direct warehouse associates.
  • Own safety compliance, enforcement, and execution training on the warehouse floor.
  • Set clear performance, productivity, and safety expectations.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities.
  • Investigate warehouse-related shortages, damages, and execution issues.
  • Confirm facts, constraints, and root cause related to fulfillment failures.
  • Document root cause and corrective actions and implement process improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide timely execution feedback to the Supervisor, Branch Operations to support accurate customer communication.
  • Support cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Escalate systemic risks or capacity constraints to Director, Sales Operations.
