About The Position

SouthernCarlson is a leading distributor of construction and packaging tools, fasteners, jobsite supplies, and expert service across North America. We are seeking a motivated Branch Associate to join our team. This role is central to our operations, supporting customers, sales teams, and branch activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in front counter sales and customer service, a passion for building relationships, and a desire to learn and grow within the company.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or sales support.
High School Diploma required.
Clear, friendly, and professional communication skills (in person, phone, email).
Eagerness to learn products and anticipate customer needs.
Proactive team player with a can-do attitude.
Ability to connect with people and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Comfortable navigating systems and assisting customers digitally.
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience is a plus.
Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, answer inquiries via phone and email, and provide exceptional service.
Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, recommending solutions, and identifying upselling opportunities.
Support branch operations by assisting sales representatives and managers, and pulling orders.
Maintain the organization, merchandising, and presentation of the showroom.
Handle diverse responsibilities including answering phones and troubleshooting product questions.
Monitor warehouse layout, space utilization, and equipment condition for efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational success.
