Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Risk Adjustment, the Burden of Illness Education Supervisor is responsible for providing first-line supervision for the Burden of Illness team of educators. This role involves daily supervision and monitoring of quality and productivity performance, as well as interviewing, hiring, and disciplining staff. The position participates in process improvement projects and supports departmental and organizational goals. The Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all aspects of provider and medical staff education provided by regional educators, planning, implementing, and evaluating HCC education through various mediums including direct sessions, written guides, protocols, and audits. The role requires monitoring audits and reports to identify areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate assistance and direction for each region. Communication with department and site management is crucial to ensure providers and staff meet Millennium’s standards and goals. This position demands a high degree of collaboration with Medical Directors, Value-Based Operational Leadership, and other Burden of Illness department members, such as concurrent and retrospective coding audit teams and Quality Assurance teams, to support shared initiatives.
