About The Position

This role involves leading and developing a high-performing laboratory team within the Blood Bank. The Supervisor will partner with the Medical Director to ensure quality patient care and efficient laboratory operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing complex blood bank testing, quality control, validations, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring testing accuracy and resolving technical issues. The position also involves managing training, competency assessments, audits, inspections, and corrective actions, as well as supporting department budgets and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological or related field and SBB (ASCP) equivalent required.
• State license may be required where applicable.
• 5+ years of high-complexity blood bank experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

• Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
