The incumbent is responsible for supervising team members in specified food outlet(s) and assist in supervision of all other outlets as needed. This role creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain their choice for gaming entertainment. The supervisor is responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service. They will open and close shifts or work areas at scheduled times, ensuring the outlet is fully prepared for operation, as well as ensuring cleanliness and security of company assets. The role also involves maintaining administrative functions such as scheduling, time and attendance records, and appraisals to ensure appropriate staffing levels and that team members are performing duties according to established service standards. Additionally, the supervisor will assist in monitoring the department budget for efficient use of labor and resources, monitor guest service and satisfaction, and resolve guest concerns or complaints. They will inspect food outlets daily to ensure a safe work environment, proper equipment operation, and sufficient supplies. The supervisor will also work directly with the culinary team to create, place, and receive food and non-food orders, attend and participate in meetings, and perform work regularly and predictably. Seminars may also be attended when needed.
