About The Position

This role involves supervising employees in the Beverage Department, managing schedules, inventory, and guest relations. The supervisor is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. This includes interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving problems. The work environment includes occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions, with moderate noise levels. The employee must be able to work in a smoking environment. Requirements

• Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Beverage Department.
• Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules of all employees on assigned shift.
• Keep track of the inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Handle guest complaints in a professional manner.
• Monitor guests to determine their level of intoxication.
• Offer coffee or water if they feel that it is necessary.
• Motivate employees to be team players.
• Evaluate employees based on job performance.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
• Planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Appraising performance.
• Rewarding and disciplining employees.
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Other duties may be assigned.
